XV Winter olympiad - calgary

A major undertaking included construction of numerous facilities for the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, including the building of the 1988 Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Calgary which included a complex roof truss system.

The Olympic Oval project was awarded the prestigious Montgomery Award for Engineering and Construction Innovation and Excellence by the Canadian Construction Association.

Other work included the Olympic Plaza in the heart of downtown Calgary which was the site of the daily award ceremonies

and the ski jumps, as well as the refrigeration facility for the bob-sled and luge, Canada Olympic Park.
